Before Adsense launch, website owners’ only way to make money from their web traffic was selling ad space to advertiser mostly showing image ads, which slows browsing and sometimes ad was not relevant to the website earning very less revenue. Google Adsense resolve these two problem by providing text ad which are also relevant, that is why adsense is so popular and internet most widely used method of making money online.
From very big websites like ehow or personal blog, every one is taking its share from adsense earnings. If you have a website or blog and it is getting some traffic then you can also benefit from adsense. Just fill out the form for adsense account and google will approve you in 2-3 days if your website does not break any rules. They do not allow porn, gambling, or racist website and you have to follow some rules after serving the ads in your website. Because it is PPC pay per click ad, you get paid for every click so the click fraud is the most common problem with adsense and google banned those websites immediately which are involve in it.
AdSense is a good way of constant income on your site but you have to create quality content constantly. Once earning some money from one website you can create many others because adsense allow multiple websites and there is not need of getting approval for every website. Most of people are making thousand from adsense but they have multiple websites.
Few adsense tips and secrets from me : If you earn 100$ per month from one website having 10 website your earning cross over 1000$ per month, if you are good in getting traffic. Nowadays there are many other ways of traffic apart from search engines including Social websites, articles directories, youtube, and many others, which you can benefit from.
Yahoo and MSN also followed google and they have their own ad network like adsense. Apart from these three, there are hundreds of other networks who are working on pay per click bases and you can also join them.

AdSense is great for beginners, though many bloggers soon go to private ad buys since they pay more and they’re more beneficial for the buyer. In the end Google is an agency and if you can get your advertisers to buy ads directly it will be better for everyone. Still … it’s a long way to there.
